Learning Hubs: Students, staff, we're in this together!

Julie Evans, Emma Heron and Jon Inns

Welcome

We are currently piloting two Learning Hubs:

  • Arundel (Division of Education & Humanities)
  • Southbourne (Division of Applied Social Science)
This text is replaced by the Flash Video.

We aim to work openly and honestly in addition to taking a few creative risks. We want to make a positive difference to the way that we do things in the Faculty - to improve the student and staff experience. This is an exciting time for us and we strongly encourage your involvement and welcome your suggestions. Through the Learning Hubs we wish to create an integrated, dynamic and innovative learning environment and that could be both physical and virtual. We have a great opportunity to use space differently and much more creatively. This could be formal and informal for teaching, for socialising or sharing knowledge and experiences. Through the Learning Hub and the people (staff and students) within, we aim to create a community and a shared sense of identity.
